UCLA continued its preparation for Nebraska in Tuesday's practice, on a hot afternoon at Spaulding Field.
In terms of some of the injured, sources have told us:
-- Freshman offensive lineman Colby Cyburt will undergo an epidural Friday for a bulging disc in his back. The UCLA doctors have already attempted some things with Cyburt, and if the epidural isn't successful, it's uncertain what the next step would be with Cyburt.
-- Dietrich Riley, the safety who injured his neck in a collision last season, is getting close to be cleared to do some workouts.
Freshman DE/LB Jeremy Castro, who has not been able to participate in football as of yet due to not being cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse was seen on campus walking toward North Campus, looking like he was attending class.
Former UCLA cornerback Trey Brown, who is a scout for the New England Patriots, attended practice.
