Lacy Talks UCLA Official Visit

The four-star offensive lineman from Arizona, Kenny Lacy, talked about his official visit to UCLA during the weekend, in particular the Nebraska game...

UCLA came away with a huge win over visiting Nebraska on Saturday and two of Arizona's top prospects were on official visits to witness it first hand.

Peoria Centennial's Jalen Ortiz and Phoenix Mountain Pointe's Kenny Lacy both took their first official and the four-star Lacy talks with FoxSportsNext about the trip.

The offensive tackle's first reaction, "I loved it!"

"I loved just everything," he says. "They beat Nebraska, they started nine freshmen, Coach Klemm is really cool, just everything."

The Bruin offense exploded for 653 yards against Nebraska and Lacy left impressed. "The offense is really nice. It is a lot of passing and they use spread-zone schemes but in the run game they still use a lot of power stuff."

And Lacy says he can see himself playing in this offense, "Coach Klemm thinks I can be the left tackle and Christian Morris can be the right," he says.

Regarding Klemm, Lacy chimes in, "He's really cool. He's a younger guy but still kind of strict."

Nebraska is one of Lacy's finalists, as is Arkansas. With UCLA's win over the Huskers and Arkansas falling to Louisiana-Monroe, Kenny admits that UCLA might now have a slight lead. But he says he will not make a decision just yet. "I plan to visit both this month," he says.

Lacy's visit to Westwood came on the heels of Mountain Pointe's huge victory over rival Desert Vista. The Pride are 3-0 on the year and ranked the #1 team in Arizona's division-one class.
