Ware Will Go Through It

The Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian 2014 athlete, Marquis Ware, will go through the entire recruiting process...

Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian 2014 athlete Marquis Ware has double-digit offers, but is hopeful that list will grow in the next year.

"I have 11 offers right now, but a lot more could come if I have a good season," said Ware. "I'm not making a decision for a long time though."

Ware said a handful of schools are sticking out to him.

"Standing out right now is Texas A&M, UCLA, Boise State and Washington State," said Ware.

And a few more Pac-12 schools have expressed interest in him.

"I'm hoping for offers from USC, Washington and Oregon," said Ware. "They just want to see my mini-season highlight."

Ware can play linebacker or tight end, both positions he plays for Salesian, but one side stands out.

"I don't really know right now what I'll play in college, but I'd probably go with defense," said Ware. "I've really put in the work at linebacker. Some schools have said linebacker but more of a rush-end, kind of a hybrid guy."

Ware said he doesn't see any reason to commit early

"I just want to take my time and make a decision from there," said Ware. "I'll wait until 12th grade to make my decision. I'm going to talk to everyone, coaches, family, parents, and just see what everyone thinks."
