"It was an incredible experience," Moore said. "I think the biggest highlights were the game atmosphere and the fan support. I've been to a few games before but this was the first game I've been to that was a sell out and I've never seen such a passionate fan base before.
"The fans were crazy the whole game and I loved watching that defense. Michigan has a powerful offense and Notre Dame really shut them down. I was watching the game and seeing how I would fit in with the defense and I definitely think it would be a great fit for me for sure."
Moore said another highlight was spending time with the Irish coaches.
"I had some great one on one time with Coach Kelly and Coach Cooks, the DB coach," Moore said. "Coach Kelly talked a lot about the academics of the school and the incredible alumni support. The networking at Notre Dame is second to none and you graduate there, you can get a job anywhere in the country.
"With Coach Cooks, it was more football related. We talked a lot about the schemes they use and their defense in all. He told me what he liked about how I play the game and showed me how I could come in and make an impact."
Moore, who almost committed to UCLA just a month ago said he actually gave some thought to committing to Notre Dame over the weekend.
"I'm not going to lie, the thought definitely crossed my mind," Moore said. "I feel really good about Notre Dame right now but I also know I couldn't make that kind of decision without discussing it with my family first. My dad told me before I visited that I can't get too high about any school after a visit because you're always going to have that post-visit high.
"Right now, the plan is for us to sit down and talk this week and figure out what I should do. I have some other trips planned and I could still take those or I could decide between Notre Dame and UCLA. Both are great schools and offer a lot. Notre Dame had that incredible atmosphere, I was at UCLA last week and I love the area and I grew up a Bruin fan. It's going to be a tough decision and I know I have a lot to think about right now."
