The 2014 prospect, who plays safety and corner while also dabbling in some running back, is another one of Salesian's vaunted junior class.
While Carr doesn't have any offers, several schools are showing interest.
Carr said most of his attention is coming on defense.
"Free safety and corner are what most coaches are looking at me for and feel like defense is my best spot at the next level," said Carr.
Carr has been to games at both USC and UCLA this year, and plans to attend more.
USC is standing out early, while UCLA, where one of his teammates is committed, is also in the mix.
"USC is a great place and it's close to home," said Carr. "And my good friend and teammate Jermaine Kelly is committed to UCLA so I like them too."
Academically, Carr is doing well.
"I have a 3.6 GPA so of course, the academics of a school are going to be something I'll look at first," said Carr. "I haven't taken the SAT or ACT, but I'll probably take it soon before the spring."
