In-Person Evaluation: Ricky Town

Get an in-depth scouting report and video on 2015 Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure quarterback Ricky Town...

When watching the high-octane offense of Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure it's hard to believe that the player orchestrating the show is just a sophomore.

Ricky Town, the talented 2015 signal caller, is having a magical start to his varsity career, completing 10-of-11 pass attempts in the season opener and adding an eye-popping 346 yard, three-touchdown performance against traditional powerhouse Corona Centennial.

The first thing that jumps out about Town is his poise in the line of fire. St. Bonaventure has faced one of the toughest schedules in Southern California and the sophomore hasn't flinched against some tough defenses.

At 6-4, 190 pounds, he already has college size and will only grow and add more weight to his frame. Town has a good arm and is very polished for a young player. If he continues to develop his skills, he will emerge as one of the top quarterbacks on the West Coast in the 2015 class.
