"I had a real good time, it was an amazing visit," Ross said. "The facilities and the game atmosphere were the things that really stood out. The facilities are incredible, I've never seen anything like that before. Not just the football facilities, the academic center is just as impressive.
"The game itself was so much fun. I didn't expect to be that in to it but I was going crazy just like all the fans were. It was so loud in there and I was really impressed with Oregon. They're such an explosive team and can score at any time in the game. I was watching the game as a fan but also watching to see how I would fit in and I think the offense is perfect for me."
Ross said his role would be similar to how the Ducks currently use DeAnthony Thomas.
"I would get the ball as a receiver and also out of the backfield," Ross said. "That's basically how I'm used right now, as a part time running back and receiver. That's how they use DeAnthony and I'm totally fine with that. The system doesn't really matter to me as long as I'm getting the ball. Oregon obviously knows how to get their playmakers the ball.
"I spent a lot of time with all the coaches and they were great with me. I was probably with coach Campbell the most but I also talked a lot with Coach Frost, Helfrich and Chip Kelly. The players were all great with me and I was blown away by the academic center. They tutorial program and the help they provide you is really amazing."
As good as the visit was, Ross said he was never tempted to commit and still wants to take a few more trips.
"I want to take things slow," Ross said. "The coaches said to take my time but be smart about it. They said if I like Oregon, I should commit because I need to realize there are other players out there that like Oregon a lot too and I get that.
"Oregon and Washington are probably my top two right now and UCLA is right there as well. I also like Oregon State and I want to visit those schools. Nebraska and Wisconsin are in the picture as well. I don't know if I'll do any more visits during the season or after. I'm just going to play it by ear and figure that out later."
