When it was done, Enewally got some good news from the Bruin coaches.
"UCLA had been talking to me for a while and they were on me the whole time and they offered me," said Enewally. "I kind of knew it was going to come. Coach Meat (Demetrice Martin), he was really on me for a while, he and Coach (Steve) Broussard. I talked with Coach Meat, Coach Broussard and then talked with Coach (Jim) Mora and they offered."
Enewally camped at UCLA's Elite Camp in June, his first chance to really perform in front of the Bruin coaches, and after his senior film made its way to Westwood, the Bruin coaches gave him the news he'd been hoping to hear.
"I'm really excited about this offer, and my dad was excited because UCLA is close to home," said Enewally. "Their coaches are hyped about me playing corner for them. Coach Mora and the whole coaching staff said that I could come in early and compete for a position."
But Enewally said he wasn't ready to make a commitment, to UCLA, or anywhere.
"I'm still trying to go through the whole process," said Enewally. "I might have to take all five of my trips now though. I can't say if I have a leader, or even a top five. I just want to go through the process. I'm still pretty wide open."
In fact, Enewally is hoping to get to Arizona this weekend.
"I think I might be taking my official visit to Arizona this weekend when they play USC," said Enewally. "I'm calling the coaches (Tuesday) to firm it up."
Academically, Enewally has a 3.4 GPA and has already achieved a qualifying score on the SAT.
