"I'm hearing from UCLA, Gonzaga, BYU, Utah, Utah State, Arizona State, Colorado and San Francisco – they've all offered," said Chapman. "Stanford and USC just visited, I've been talking to Florida State a lot and Arizona is coming in this week."
I asked Chapman if any schools stand out for him at this time.
"I don't really have a leader," said Chapman. "I really like the in-state schools and have a good relationship with all the coaches. UCLA is a huge program and among the best ever. Gonzaga is one of the top programs year in and year out.
I asked Chapman what he is looking for in a school.
"I want to go to a winning program," said Chapman. "I'm not against an up and coming program, but I would prefer a winning program with a steady coach that will be there all four years I'm in school. I'd like to go someplace warm, but location isn't a huge factor for me."
When asked if early playing time is a big issue for him, Chapman replied, "If I don't start right away I can deal with earning minutes and hopefully playing later in the year."
Chapman has been to the in-state schools, but has yet to take any other visits.
"I'd like to go see some other schools after my season ends," said Chapman.
Chapman said that he has a 3.1 GPA.
