Foreman Sets Announcment Date

Encino (Calif.) Crespi defensive back Tyler Foreman, one of the nation's elite safety prospects has four schools on his list and will make his college choice this Saturday...

Tyler Foreman has had a big senior season and has seen his stock rise in a big way. It's a great year for safeties out West but Foreman takes a backseat to no one and has tremendous upside at the next level.

On the recruiting front, Foreman narrowed his choices to four and will pull the trigger this weekend.

"I'm going to commit on Saturday," Foreman said. "It's down to Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Utah and UCLA. I have a teammate on the basketball team that is signing on Saturday so I think we just might do it together. We're having a little get together at the school but I'm not sure what time it will be at yet."

Foreman said he has already decided on a school and feels good about the decision.

"I've known for a little bit," Foreman said. "The biggest factors for me in my decision were how comfortable was I with the coaching staff and the players, the academic reputation of the school and just what kind of overall vibe I got from the school.

"I had great official visits to Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Utah and I've been to UCLA a ton of times and already know everything about them. All four are great schools and it was a tough decision. Location didn't really play a role for me, I knew I would be comfortable anywhere so that didn't play a factor. I just wanted to pick the best school for me and that's what I feel I did."
