Honolulu (Hawaii) Punahou middle linebacker Isaac Savaiinaea considering Notre Dame, Stanford, Texas A&M and UCLA. He recently eliminated two of the schools.

"I have it down to Texas A&M and UCLA," said Savaiinaea. "UCLA will be in on Thursday. Texas A&M came out the first day of the contact period."

Savaiinaea has already taken official visits to both schools and plans on having a final decision by the end of the month.

"I'll be announcing at the Under Armour Game (Jan. 5)," said Savaiinaea.

Savaiinaea is not only hearing from the Aggie coaching staff, but also getting worked on by a former rival in Honolulu (Hawaii) St. Louis wide receiver and current Aggie commit Jeremy Tabuyo.

"I have been talking to Tabuyo since my official visit," said Savaiinaea. "I was kind of recruiting him at first. That was my best trip until UCLA and that was a lot later. He was a rival, but we have become good friends."

The 6'3" 230lbs prospect talked about what got each program into his final two.

"Texas A&M… The family feel and how crazy their fans are," said Savaiinaea. "How dedicated the community is to football. You don't see that other paces. You will be taken care of."

"UCLA… I have a real connection with coach Ulbrich," said Savaiinaea. "He played at Hawaii, so he knows where I am coming from. He is a cool guy, the players love him. They said he is a reason why they like playing football again."
