"Our season is going pretty good so far," said Victor. "We had seven seniors last year so we have a young team moving forward but we are coming together."
Throughout his career no one has ever questioned Victor's talent, just sometimes his consistency. Now Victor says that is the major focus for him.
"My focus has been on playing hard on both ends of the floor for the entire game," Victor explained. "I know I have to push myself to be the best player that I can be."
Recruiting wise numerous schools have been down to see him, and are making him a priority recruit.
One school that has been there for a while is UCLA. The Bruins have made him a target from the beginning, and Victor likes what he has seen with the school.
"It is a nice school especially with their 2012 class," said Victor of the Bruins. "I have been on their campus before and I liked the environment, and the way they run their motion offense I think I could fit in well. Also it is a good environment with a lot of fan support."
UCLA's Pac 12 rival Arizona is also high on Victor's list, and has been down to see him this year.
"They come down about once or twice a month," said Victor of the Wildcats. "They are a good school, especially with how their power forwards have been successful. I could see myself filling Grant Jerrett and Brandon Ashley's shoes once they leave."
LSU has been attacking the recruiting trail hard under new coach Johnny Jones, and Victor has been a major focus in 2014 for them.
"They have been in touch a lot," Victor said of LSU. "They try to make as many games as they can. I have been to LSU and getting Coach (Robert) Kirby from Georgetown was a big move. Also they got Jordan Mickey and Karviar Shepherd which was huge. They are doing a great job."
For now Victor is in no hurry to make a decision, but he does know what he is looking for in a school.
"I am looking for a school that is family oriented with a good education is most important," said Victor. "Also I am looking for a school that is going to compete for a national championship. I also want a team that sticks together through tough times with a strong coach and a place that always sells out and fills the seats."
Currently Victor is seen as the No. 18 player in the country.
