Foreman Opens It Up

The Encino (Calif.) Crespi four-star safety, Tyler Foreman, decommits from a Big Ten school and will take some visits...

Encino (Calif.) Crespi safety Tyler Foreman committed to Wisconsin in November.

And when Bret Bielema left the Badgers to take over as the head coach at Arkansas, he remained committed to Wisconsin.

But when Andy Buh, the coach who recruited him to Wisconsin, left for the defensive coordinator position at Cal, it appeared it might be just a matter of time before Foreman opened things up.

On Thursday night, that time came.

"I officially decommitted from Wisconsin tonight," said Foreman. "They're completely out."

Foreman is now focusing on two Pac-12 schools, both in-state, and an SEC school that offered this week.

"I'm considering California and UCLA and I just got offered by Missouri," said Foreman.

Foreman had taken three official visits, to Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Utah, and still has two visits left.

Now, he'll try to visit the three schools, with one having to be an unofficial.

"I want to visit all three, but I have to sort them out still," said Foreman.

Both Cal and UCLA have signed Crespi teammates the last two years, and Foreman said Chris Harper (Cal) and Devin Lucien (UCLA) have been working on him.

"They are both talking," said Foreman.

Foreman has had an in home visit with Cal and will have one with UCLA soon, and will likely have second in-home visits with both.

Foreman is the #8-ranked safety in the country in the 2013 class.
