Judge on More Visits, UCLA

Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian linebacker Cameron Judge has been a longtime UCLA commit but the Bruins have some competition from another Pac 12 school.

Cameron Judge committed to UCLA back in June but will take a visit to Arizona State this weekend and the Sun Devils are a real player in this one.

"I was originally set to visit ASU in two weeks but I'm moving it up to this weekend," Judge said. "I had a home visit with the coaches tonight and it went really good. I've heard good things about Tempe and I think it will be a really good visit.

"ASU has been recruiting me harder than anyone over the last few months so I'm giving them a hard look. I was looking at Oregon State too but I'm down to UCLA and Arizona State and I'm going to make a final decision around Signing Day."

A week ago, Judge said he hadn't been hearing much from UCLA and planned to reach out and see where things stood.

"I talked to the coaches and they said they're still interested in me," Judge said. "They said they still want me at UCLA and I'm planning to take an official visit. It looks like I might visit on (Feb. 2), that last weekend before Signing Day. I should be ready to make a final decision a day or two before Signing Day, that's my plan as of right now."
