After a very quick recruitment, UCLA has found a quarterback to add to a stellar recruiting class.

Winter Park (Fl.) quarterback Asiantii Woulard announced for UCLA on Wednesday after visiting Westwood last month.

"I'm going to play my college football at UCLA," Woulard said. "Obviously they have a great coaching staff out there. Also, for what I'm trying to accomplish for college and after college, it's great for networking."

"They've got a lot of young talent, one of the best o-line classes coming out."

The four star prospect was originally committed to South Florida but decommitted in the wake of a coaching change. He was then thought to be a Clemson lean, until the trip to UCLA. He picked UCLA over USF, NC State, and Kentucky.

We had heard that on the trip, he had given indications to the UCLA coaching staff of his intent to sign with the Bruins.

With the 6'4, 200 pound Woulard, the Bruins are getting an athletic quarterback with great physical tools who is still developing as a player. He'll most likely compete for the number two quarterback role, and should be the heir apparent to Brett Hundley.

Quarterback was a major need for UCLA in this class, and after striking out on Troy Williams and Hayden Rettig, snagging Woulard was quite a coup. Now, the UCLA coaching staff has a talented backup who can hopefully take the reins of the offense from Hundley within the next three years.
