Westlake (Calif.) Oaks Christian linebacker Cameron Judge thought he might be heading to ASU last month when the UCLA coaching staff suddenly stopped communicating with him.
However, the UCLA coaching staff and head coach Jim Mora reopened contact in recent weeks and managed to bring Judge back into the fold, with Judge signing his Letter of Intent on Wednesday.
"I decided Monday night on UCLA, and told ASU," Judge said. "UCLA was the best fit for me, I was comfortable in the area, I love the coaching staff, and I wanted to stay home."
Judge said the coaching staff hasn't yet specified where he'll be playing, with both inside and outside linebacker being possibilities. At 6'2, 220, Judge is a decent fit at either position.
Judge joins a fantastic linebacker recruiting class which includes four star Isaac Savaiinaea, four star Myles Jack, four star Deon Hollins, and three star Jayon Brown.
