Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep power forward Gavin Schilling is visiting UCLA officially this weekend. The 2013 three star is down to four schools: UCLA, Michigan State, Villanova, and Minnesota.
Schilling is one of the best remaining uncommitted post prospects left on the board for UCLA. At 6'9, 235, he would add some much needed size to UCLA's front line. His teammate Allerik Freeman signed with UCLA in the fall, which could help with Schilling.
Schilling transferred to Findlay Prep from Chicago De La Salle, and has seen his recruitment take off since playing well over the summer and fall. An athletic prospect, he still needs to work on his shooting touch and offensive game.
With no posts committed for next season, and only three posts scheduled to be on the roster next season in David Wear, Travis Wear, and Tony Parker, Schilling is a high priority recruit for UCLA.
The forward is still looking into setting up other visits after the UCLA official, per Evan Daniels.
