"The visit down there went pretty good," said Harvey. "I really like the campus and really like the atmosphere there. I could see myself playing there."
Harvey talked at length with UCLA receivers coach Eric Yarber.
"I was talking to the receivers coach, Coach Yarbs, and I think, they're on the verge of offering," said Harvey. "And I was speaking with Coach Angus (McClure) a lot too and he said they could be close."
Both of Harvey's teammates have a Bruin offer, and he said he'd like to add that one to the mix.
"Of course it would be great to get an offer from them, so we'll just see what happens," said Harvey. "That was my first time at UCLA and it was a pretty good experience. They were telling us about the school and how some movies were shot there. That was a cool thing to find out."
Harvey does have an offer from Arizona State, as do Pickett and Calhoun, and the three plan to get down to Tempe sometime this spring.
"We're for sure going down there to check out Arizona State," said Harvey. "And the USC head coach came by our school before Signing Day and he invited all of us to a Junior Day thing at USC on February 24th so we're going to that too."
Harvey said that he's planning to camp at Arizona State, Notre Dame, UCLA and USC this spring and is also playing on the 7on7 circuit, including the NLA 7on7 in Las Vegas next month.
Academically, Harvey has a 3.0 and achieved a qualifying test score already when he took it in November.
