Pickett Keeping Busy

El Cerrito (Calif.) cornerback Adarius Pickett (5-11, 180), was one of a host of players at USC on Sunday for the Trojans' Junior Day.

"It went well there at USC," said Pickett. "We got to see their athletic facilities and talk with them about the academics. It was a good time."

Pickett met primarily with Clay Helton, who stopped by the school during the winter and recruits his area.

"We talked with a lot of coaches and talked a lot with Coach Helton," said Pickett. "I knew Coach (Clancy) Pendergast from when he was at Cal too and talked a little with him too."

Pickett has a handful of offers, and while USC isn't one of them, they did give him an idea of when one could come.

"They told me they have a lot of interest in me, and they would like to see me come to their camp in June," said Pickett. "I don't know though if I'll be there with scheduling."

Pickett has already visited UCLA for their Junior Day and he'll be making another stop at an in-state school next weekend.

"I'm going up to Cal next weekend to visit with them and I'm going to their Junior Day," said Pickett.

Pickett has offers from Arizona State, Cal, Nevada, UCLA, Utah and Washington State.
