Richard Making Visits

The Palmdale (Calif.) running back, Demario Richard, is visiting a host of schools this spring...

Palmdale (Calif.) running back Demario Richard (5-9, 200), took in USC's Junior Day over the weekend.

"It was alright there," said Richard. "I got to talk with the coaches some. I'm not really feeling them right now, they didn't talk with me at all about an offer."

Richard instead is focusing on a few other schools, like Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska and UCLA, who've all offered.

He's also hearing from Boise State, Oregon, Ole Miss and Wisconsin among others.

Oregon is still one of the favorites.

"I like Oregon and the way they use their running backs," said Richard.

Nebraska was the most recent to offer him.

"I trained with the same trainer for Terrell Newby (who signed with Nebraska), but I don't really know him, but I like Nebraska," said Richard.

Richard plans to visit Arizona and Arizona State next month and will be back at UCLA this spring.

"I'm going to visit UCLA and I'm going to camp there too," said Richard.

As a junior, he ran for 1,722 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Brandon is in his ninth year with Scout.com and FOXSportsNext, currently as a National Recruiting Analyst and West Regional Manager. Prior to joining the Scout Recruiting Team, he was a team recruiting writer.  He's been covering recruiting for the Scout Network since 2003.
