UCLA Watching Inglewood Receiver

The Inglewood (Calif.) receiver, Zaire Andre, is hearing from the hometown Bruins...

Inglewood (Calif.) receiver Zaire Andre (6-0, 170), took a short drive over to USC on Sunday, visiting the Trojans for their Junior Day.

"It was pretty cool there," said Andre. "I got to meet the coaches and see the facilities and see how things were going. They were saying how competitive it is for a scholarship but if I come to their camp they'll consider offering me."

Andre spent time with USC receivers coach, Tee Martin, on Sunday.

"I talked to the receivers coach, Coach Martin, and he's a really good guy," said Andre. "I went to their camp last year and heard from them during the season."

Andre said a few other Pac-12 schools are staying in regular communication with him.

"Cal, Washington, Washington State and UCLA have all been keeping in contact and all talk to me regularly," said Andre. "I like Oregon a lot too because of DeAnthony Thomas, and want to hear more from them."

Andre has one offer, from Houston, but said that he's not leaning towards any one school.

"I'm open to everyone right now," said Andre.

Andre is headed to Las Vegas this weekend for the NLA Elite 7on7, playing with the Frat Boyz.
