Holmes Has a Dream School

The Roseville (Calif.) Oakmont receiver, Justin Holmes, is patiently waiting for his first offer but has a Pac-12 dream school...

Roseville (Calif.) Oakmont receiver Justin Holmes was one of the sleepers at the NLA Elite 7on7.

And while the 6-3, 195-pounder doesn't have an offer yet, a handful of schools are expressing interest in him.

"I'm hearing from a couple of schools like UCLA, San Diego State, Cal, Utah and Colorado," said Holmes.

And a few more Pac-12 schools are ones Holmes would like to hear more from.

"I like a lot of the schools from back east but I would like to hear from USC, Oregon and Oregon State some," said Holmes.

A versatile two-way threat, Holmes also plays safety, offense is where he wants to be.

"All the schools want me as a receiver and that's really what I want to play," said Holmes. "I play safety, but offense is my primary position. Calvin Johnson is my favorite player and who I watch."

Holmes said one school stands out the most.

"UCLA has probably been my dream school for the longest time," said Holmes.

Carrying a 3.5, Holmes will take the SAT and ACT in the spring.

He'll be at the Oakland NFTC in May.
