L.A. Nike Football Training Camp Recruiting Notebook

-Gardena (Calif.) Serra defensive back Adoree Jackson said that the schools standing out to him were UCLA, USC, LSU, Florida, Miami, Texas A&M, Michigan and Notre Dame and that those schools were recruiting him the hardest.

-Corona (Calif.) Centennial offensive lineman Viane Talamaiavo got an invite to The Opening after a great performance for the second straight year, and he said that the Alabama offer, which he got two weeks ago, is standing out to him and Florida State offered him on Saturday.  Talamaiavo said that some other schools recruiting him hard were Ole Miss and Washington and that Florida and Oregon were also recruiting him hard though he's waiting on an offfer.

-Lompoc (Calif.) defensive tackle Ainuu Taua was the DL MVP at the NFTC and the four-star said that his top three was Ole Miss, UCLA and Washington and that Ole Miss was recruiting him the hardest.  He said he'd like to decide before his senior year.

-Palmdale (Calif.) running back Demario Richard got his first offer from Tennessee this week to go along with offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska and UCLA.  Richard said he thinks Washington could be close to offering as well.

-Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian 2015 offensive tackle Reno Rosene still has one offer, from Notre Dame, and said that Stanford has been watching him and is waiting for his semester transcripts.  Colorado is also showing interest and he's talked with USC, UCLA, Michigan and Oregon.

-Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta linebacker Greg Hoyd was offered by Washington State this week with Utah, Duke and New Mexico State all having offered.  Stanford, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Maryland and Kentucky have all been in recent contact with him.

-Gardena (Calif.) Serra linebacker Dwight Williams was named the LB MVP for the second straight year and the West's top linebacker has over 20 offers, with Missouri, Kentucky and South Florida the most recent offers.

-Phoenix (Ariz.) Desert Vista defensive end Jalen Jelks is holding offers from Oregon State, Washington, Arizona and Tennessee and said that Arizona State, Wisconsin and Oregon are all recruiting him heavily.

-Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro 2015 receiver Christian Kirk was the WR MVP and added two more offers this past week, from Cal and Wisconsin to go with offers from Arizona State, UCLA, Oregon State and Arizona.

-Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain quarterback Kyle Allen has had his most recent offers come from Wisconsin, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and West Virginia to go along with offers from Arizona State, UCLA, Oklahoma State, Boise State, Arizona, North Carolina, Duke, Colorado, Colorado State and Oregon State.  Allen said that Arizona State, UCLA, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M were recruiting him the hardest.

-Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian 2015 athlete Darick Holmes had an early offer from UCLA and said that Iowa is a new school showing interest in him as well as Idaho.

-Chandler (Ariz.) 2015 quarterback Bryce Perkins has offers from Arizona State, the local school, and UCLA, where his older brother, Paul plays.  Perkins said that Oregon and Arizona were also talking with him.
