"USC offered," Simmons informed. "I was really excited to add that one. They are a big-time program."
The Trojans join what has been one of the more impressive offers tallies in the country.
Schools like Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Boise State, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Purdue, Rutgers, SMU, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas Tech, UCLA, Virginia and West Virginia have now all extended Simmons offers.
The Scout.com Top 100 prospect has hopes to get out to the West Coast to take a look at the three major schools that have stepped up.
"This spring I am planning to get out to to the west coast to see USC, Stanford and UCLA," Simmons relayed. "I have been out there before, but I would like to get out there again now that they have all offered."
"They are all good schools with strong programs ans academics."
As a junior, Simmons racked up 94 tackles, broke up two passes, caused two fumbles and had three tackles for a loss to earn First Team All-District and Second Team Scout.com All-Midlands honors.
