So how much does he know about these new programs?
"I know UCLA, California and Boston College are all great academic schools," said Humphreys. "They are all schools I could see myself playing for."
The 6'4", 262-pound prospect has been speaking to most of the schools for a while, but one offer came as a surprise.
"Boston College was a surprise. My coach had talked to me about them once I think, then I called and they offered," said Humphreys.
"USC really likes me; I got on the phone with Lane Kiffin and they are close. Oregon could possibly offer me as well," said Humphreys. "USC wanted me at their camp, but I won't be able to make it. I will probably end up going to some Nike Camps; I really want to get into The Opening. That is one of my main goals along with the Army All-American Bowl."
Humphreys is going to try and get out to see as many schools as he can this summer.
"I am actually heading to Cal tomorrow; I'll be down there for the weekend," said Humphreys. "After spring break I'll hit UCLA and USC. Then a bunch of schools during the summer, I want to try and commit before school starts. I might do some officials, well see."
So what is Humphreys looking for in a school"
"I think the city itself will be a major factor. I will be there for four years," said Humphreys. "I want to go somewhere I will be comfortable and could live there after school. That will go along with the school and the football program."
