Scranton (Penn.) Lackawanna College offensive line standout Jermaine Eluemunor has over a dozen top-notch offers to choose from at the next level, and he's beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The four-star is planning on wrapping up his JUCO career in December in order to enroll at his school of choice by January of 2014, so the process is about to pick up even more as he takes in college campuses this summer.
A trio of visits are already planned.
"I am officially visiting Alabama, UCLA, Florida State and Arkansas," he informed Scout via text message. "Alabama is 17-19 of July, Arkansas is 19-21, I'm still trying to figure out UCLA and Florida State is July 29-31.
"Then I'm trying to figure out my last one."
Each of the aforementioned schools has offered, as has Penn State. Eluemunor spent a few days there of late and raved about his trip. He'll check out one of the Nittany Lions' biggest rivals before any of the officials begin.
"That was unofficial and I'm taking an unofficial to Ohio State in two weeks," he said. "I'm not taking officials there because they're in driving distance."
With the four schools that will receive official visits and the Big Ten pair, the half-dozen schools are beginning to create some separation on the England native's list.
"I can't really name a favorite, but those are the schools standout out most to me," Eluemunor admitted. "They're the schools I'm talking to the most."
"I'm looking forward to all of the visits," he continued. "This whole process is really exciting. I can't wait for all my visits, it's going to be a great experience.
"It's crazy, but I'm grateful and blessed."
Eluemunor is listed at 6-foot-5, 315 pounds.
