Two More Pac-12 Offers for Richard

Palmdale (Calif.) running back Demario Richard is one of the top five backs in the region and is closing in on double-digit scholarship offers after landing two more over the last 24 hours.

Demario Richard is a powerful back with tree trunk legs and a nice burst. He measured in at 5-9, 197 pounds at the SoCal NIKE Camp and looked very good going through the drills showing a nice combination of speed, change of direction and physicality.

Richard currently has eight offers on the table with the two most recent coming out of the Pac 12.

"California offered yesterday and Utah offered today," Richard said. "I have interest in both schools, I actually have interest in every school that is showing interest in me. I would love to visit these schools if I had the budget but I know I can drive to Cal, it's just a few hours away.

"I like the Pac 12 so both of these schools are intriguing. I've heard good things about them, the campuses and the football programs. I'm just excited about all the interest I'm getting right now and I'm enjoying the process."

Richard has already taken one unofficial visit and will take another this weekend.

"I visited Arizona State a few weeks back and really liked it there," Richard said. "It's a great place, I loved the coaches and they said I'm a big priority for them. I liked the campus a lot and I fit in really well there.

"This Saturday I'll be taking a visit to UCLA and that's about all I have planned right now. Everyone is even for me at this time and I don't have a leader or even a top five. I'm still trying to figure out the whole process and decide what I want to do."

In addition to the Bears and Utes, Richard has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, San Diego State, Tennessee and UCLA.
