Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta linebacker Curtis Bolton (6-2, 220), visited UCLA over the weekend, taking in the Bruins' first padded practice on Saturday.

"It was good up there, I hadn't been out there since last spring," said Bolton. "I got a chance to see the new team and I see them doing great things. I wanted to see their first padded practice and I was really impressed."

Bolton owns five offers, from Arizona, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Washington and Washington State.

And he thinks an offer from UCLA could be close by.

"Honestly, I think it's going to come down if I go to their summer camp, I think that's when they'll pull the trigger. They could do it before then, but I think if I go to their camp and do well, they could offer then," said Bolton.

Bolton got a chance to speak with the Bruin coaches.

"Coach (Jeff) Ulbrich is recruiting me personally, and I got to talk with Coach (Jim) Mora too," said Bolton. Coach (Demetrice) Martin recruits my area but Coach Ulbrich is really recruiting me."

Bolton's good friend, Jeremy Castro, is a freshman at UCLA, and Bolton said he plans to get back out to Westwood to hang out with him.

"I showed up a little late so I just got to see the practice and talk to the coaches, but I didn't get a chance to tour the campus," said Bolton. "I've seen the campus before though and it's an amazing campus. I'm going to head back out there to spend some time with Jeremy."

Bolton said he plans to attend UCLA's Spring Game and he'll also go to USC's Spring Game too.

"I'm going up to the Oakland Nike Camp and then UCLA and USC's spring games and keeping myself busy," said Bolton.
