"I went up to UCLA's practice on Saturday and they have some good receivers, so I got a chance to watch them," said Lasley. "I only said what's up to Coach (Eric) Yarber before he got hurt but I was supposed to talk with him after practice."
Instead, Lasley spoke with head coach Jim Mora.
"I talked with Coach Mora for a little bit after and that was cool," said Lasley. "I'm going to try and get back up for a practice so I can talk to Coach Yarber and Coach (Adrian) Klemm."
Lasley said that Mora told him where he stands with them right now.
"He said he really wants me to come to camp and if I do well, I'll have a good chance at getting an offer," said Lasley.
There is no need for Lasley to camp at San Diego State, though, since the Aztecs offered him well ahead of then.
"It was actually really cool when they offered me," said Lasley. "I knew I had been working hard to get one, but when San Diego State offered, it was a big weight off my back. They offered me as a receiver."
Lasley's versatility has schools interested.
"Other schools are recruiting me as a safety," said Lasley. "I like to play both sides, but if I had to choose, receiver is what I would pick."
Lasley thinks a couple more offers could be close.
"Utah is really close to offering in the next couple of weeks, and Boise State could also offer and I think Washington State will by this summer," said Lasley. "I'm planning on going to camp at UCLA, Boise State and also Oregon State."
"We have a lot of coaches coming by to see Adoree and Dwight, so I know I'll get a chance for them to see me and come watch our spring practices," said Lasley. "I know a lot have already told me they are coming."
This weekend, Lasley will be playing with B2G in their 7on7 tournament in Fullerton.
