2015 Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco quarterback Josh Rosen has had a very good spring, and could be the best quarterback in the West in 2015...

Josh Rosen, 6-4, 200 QB Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco (2015)

Evaluation: Physically, Rosen has every tool you could want and has really shined this spring. He has put on almost 20 pounds of muscle on his 6-4 frame since last spring and his arm strength has really improved noticeably.

Rosen can change speeds and understands when to take something off and throws with great touch. He's able to drop his deep balls in effortlessly and his end zone fades are thrown at the college level right now. He also shows tremendous poise and composure in the pocket and is quick going through his reads and progressions.

You rarely see Rosen force a throw but he shows the accuracy to place the ball in tight windows when needed. He's also able to roll out and throw on the run on time and with accuracy. With two years left to develop, Rosen has a very high ceiling and could be the top QB prospect in the loaded 2015 west coast class.

Recruitment: Rosen has generally listed California, Stanford and UCLA as the top three schools on his short list with the feeling that the Cardinal could be the team to beat. Rosen will camp at all three schools this summer and definitely has the talent to play for any of the three programs. With Rosen being just a sophomore, there's a chance his list of schools could change over the next two years but the three Pac 12 programs are who he's favoring at this time.
