Baker Narrows School List

Bellevue (Wash.) defensive back Budda Baker has started the process of eliminating schools from his offer list…

Bellevue (Wash.) defensive back Budda Baker came into the spring with over a dozen offers. The four-star athlete has started to sort that list out.

"No new schools really. Talking to Arizona State, Washington, UCLA and Oregon… mainly Pac-12 schools right now," said Baker. "I have been turning down some schools now like Washington State and California."

It became harder to manage the process with more schools in the mix and Baker will focus his attention on a group of early favorites.

"It's the schools I just said, plus I would like to take a visit to Notre Dame," said Baker. "Florida State maybe."

As of now, Baker has no camps or combines planned for the summer. However, he does see a potential timeline for his college decision.

"Most likely after the season," said Baker. "I will take all of my visits."

For now Baker is focused on his senior season and leading Bellevue to a sixth straight state title.

"I am just trying to get a little bit more meat on my body," said Baker. "People say I am too small, but they have to see me on the field."
