Three Early Offers for Bell

Diamond Bar (Calif.) is home to one of the top sophomores in the state in athlete Kanya Bell. Bell just landed his third Pac-12 offer this week and has early favorites...

Kanya Bell transferred, along with his best friend Cordell Broadus, from Long Beach Poly prior to his sophomore season and made an immediate impact. Bell caught 45 balls for 800 yards and eight touchdowns to go with 30 tackles and one pick at corner to earn all-state underclass honors.

Bell plays on the loaded Snoop Dogg All-Star team and has been impressive this spring. He also shows up very well on film and has elite level athleticism and body control. He has strong hands, runs well and is very explosive after the catch.

Some feel Bell might an even better corner prospect than at receiver. He has ideal size for a big corner, is very physical and plays with an edge. He's a smooth, fluid athlete and the game just comes so easy for Bell.

On the recruiting front, UCLA was first to offer Bell and two other Pac 12 programs have since followed up.

"UCLA offered me last summer," Bell said. "They offered me for corner and then I got Washington and they offered for receiver. Arizona State just offered me yesterday for receiver and I think Oregon State is real close to offering as well.

"I'm also hearing a lot from USC and that's the school I grew up rooting for. They haven't offered yet but if they do, they would move up to the top of my list. Right now, I like Oregon, UCLA and California along with SC. I like ASU too, that's my solid top five right there."

Bell said he plans to hit the summer camp circuit hard and has three trips planned.

"I'm going to camp with Washington, UCLA and San Jose State," Bell said. "Donte Williams at San Jose State came to our school and is recruiting me pretty hard but no offer yet. Right now, I'm enjoying the process and don't plan to make an early decision. I'm just going to wait things out and see what schools are the most interested in me and I'll go from there."
