Camp Slate Set for Town

The Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure 2015 quarterback, Ricky Town, has a busy schedule of camps this summer...

Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure 2015 quarterback Ricky Town (6-4, 205), added a third offer to the mix on Thursday.

"I was blessed to receive my third offer from Arizona State from Coach (Mike) Norvell, the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach," said Town.

The Sun Devils followed UCLA and Miami in offering the junior-to-be.

Town, who recently ran a 4.65, is one of the top quarterbacks in what should be a loaded class of 2015 passers.

And he'll be busy this summer with camps at two SEC schools and three Pac-12 schools.

"I was invited and will be attending the Alabama Camp, Georgia Camp, USC camp, Stanford camp and UCLA's camp," said Town.

On top of that, Town will be at the Elite 11 in San Francisco later this month as well as the Oakland NFTC.

UCLA had Town on campus in February for their mini-Junior Day, one of just a couple of sophomores.

"I went to UCLA for a tour for their mini-Junior Day and it went well and it was fun," said Town. "Both the Mazzones (offensive coordinator Noel and inside receivers coach Taylor) are recruiting me and I'm really interested in them."

Academically, Town has a 3.5 and plans to wait until his junior year to take the SAT and ACT.

Brandon is in his ninth year with Scout.com and FOXSportsNext, currently as a National Recruiting Analyst and West Regional Manager. Prior to joining the Scout Recruiting Team, he was a team recruiting writer.  He's been covering recruiting for the Scout Network since 2003.
