Oak Hills (Calif.) defensive end Kennedy Emesibe (6-4, 237), is up to five offers with Arizona joining the mix last week.

"Coach Jim Michalzik offered me from Arizona," said Emesibe. "They offered me as a defensive end."

The Wildcats joined a group that includes California, Colorado, San Diego State and Washington State.

"A lot of other schools have come by too," said Emesibe. "USC, Arizona State, Washington State, San Diego State, Oregon State, Northwestern and Colorado State have all come by. Oregon is coming on Friday. Boise State is coming on Wednesday or Friday."

Emesibe's brother plays at UCLA and Emesibe was at the Rose Bowl late last month for the Bruins' Spring Game.

"It was pretty nice getting to watch my brother play," said Emesibe. "My brother turned his ankle but before that he had two carries for 10 yards.

Emesibe had said he planned to camp at UCLA, but now isn't sure if he'll camp with the Bruins.

"I'm not sure yet," said Emesibe. "They haven't come out yet this spring."

San Diego State has come by and now Emesibe will return the favor this weekend.

"I'm going to Warrior Day at San Diego State this weekend," said Emesibe. "They're probably recruiting me the hardest."

Emesibe said he plans to visit a number of camps this spring, but hasn't yet nailed down where he'll go.

"I did the Nike Camp and I'm grateful for the Nike Camp because that helped," said Emesibe. "Now I'll just do some college camps."

Academically, Emesibe has a 3.4 and will take the SAT and ACT in June.
