The talented defensive tackle from St. Louis, the 6-4 and 275-pound Armon Watts, continues to see his recruiting stock improve...

Armon Watts, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive tackle from St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College High has turned in to one of the highest recruited players in the area. Schools have been steadily coming in to see him.

"It has been a lot of fun," Watts admitted. "Coaches have been on the road for the last two weeks. I mean schools from all of the conferences have been coming over to talk to me and Brian (Wallace). It has been pretty hectic, but cool."

The offers have been rolling in as well and he seems to be adding to an ever growing list on the regular.

"For me I have got Cincinnati, Kentucky, Memphis, Arkansas State, Northern Illinois, Balls State and Idaho," Watts explained. "I have been visiting a lot of schools."

He was recently on the campus at Missouri, attending the Black and Gold spring game.

"I went to Mizzou last weekend and they are pretty interested," Watts said of the trip.

"It was good. I got to talk to Coach Ford and I think they just want to see me at their camp, so it's pretty cool."

As far as schools which have yet to offer, Watts says that there are some other BCS schools on his radar screen.

"Tennessee," Watts mentioned. "They came out the other day and I am pretty interested in them and what they have to say. Michigan State and I am a big UCLA fan. Ever since I have been a little kid they have been a big school for me."

As a junior in 2012, Watts racked up 57 tackles and four sacks. CBC went 11-1.
