Elite 2015 Prospect Gets "Dream Offer"

No player has been more impressive this spring than Culver City (Calif.) two-way standout Stanley Norman. On Wednesday, Norman landed an offer from one of his favorites...

At different times this spring, Stanley Norman has been both the top receiver and the top cornerback during the 7 on 7 circuit. He impressed again at the IMG West Regional Championship this past weekend and it seemed like only a matter of time before his recruitment took off.

San Jose State and Marshall have both offered Norman and he landed another offer on Thursday.

"I got the offer from UCLA," Norman said. "I can't believe it, I'm definitely pumped up for this one. I talked with Coach Yarber and he said they like me as an athlete and will let me choose between receiver and cornerback.

"I don't really have a preference, I love both spots. It would be fun to play both ways but I'll figure that out later, I have a long way to go before I make my decision. UCLA has always been one of my favorite schools though, it's a dream offer for me so I'm really excited."

Norman said he's not even thinking about making an early decision.

"Honestly, I would like to wait all the way to Signing Day," Norman said. "I want to go through the process and not rush anything. I want to take my time with it and make sure I'm doing the right thing. I'm still just a sophomore and I know a lot can change between now and my senior year so I'm taking it real slow and going to let this all play out."

Along with the Bruins, Norman said Oregon and LSU remain his other favorite schools at the moment.
