With an impressive 1500 rushing yards on the year as an sophomore, Roberson is taking advantage of the offseason to improve on both sides of the ball.
"I'm trying to run better routes, become a back that can catch the ball, trying to become more versatile." said Roberson.
With two years left to make his mark, Roberson is already starting to hear from schools, and received his first official offer last week.
"I received an offer from Colorado State last Wednesday, that felt real good. It's an exciting moment, you know, to get your first offer." Roberson said. "I like what I've seen of the programs so far."
Although Roberson is pleased to have his first offer on the table, he is hopeful for more.
One school in particular is a standout in his mind.
"I really like UCLA, it would be like a home school. My coach went there, one of my uncles went there so it is real close to home for me. I'm trying to work hard out here to get an offer from them." said Roberson, who sported Bruin gloves during the IMG 7on7 tournament over the weekend.
No unofficial visits have been planned yet, but Roberson is planning on scheduling some to schools in the surrounding California area over the summer.
"I'm open to going anywhere, but my family does play a key factor in how I perform, so staying close to home would help." Roberson said.
