2015 Athlete Nearing Double Digit Offers

Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian Kyahva Tezino is yet another member of the loaded West Coast 2015 class. Tezino was one of the top linebackers at the recent NIKE Camp in Oakland and picked up two more offers last week...

Kyahva Tezino was one of the top underclassmen at the NIKE Camp on Sunday. He's a smooth-looking athlete who probably made more plays than anyone during the half-skelly period. He also shined in the one-on -ones and is one of the more natural athletes you'll see at the linebacker position.

On the recruiting front, Tezino landed two more offers last week and is closing in on double digits.

"Last Friday, I got an offer from California, and UCLA came earlier in the week," Tezino said. "I also have Houston, Miami, Arizona and a few more but I can't remember them all. I have eight total and I'm blessed for sure being just a sophomore and having all this early attention.

"I visited Cal Saturday and that was great. The coaches were great, the campus was nice and it was a really fun experience. Right now, it's real early for me and I'm just enjoying the whole experience and I don't plan on narrowing things down any time soon. Maybe after my junior year, I'll look at doing that but not right now."

As for what he's looking for in a school, Tezino said a few things jump to mind.

"I want a place that feels like home for me and a school that can get me to the NFL," Tezino said. "That's my dream, to play in the NFL so I want to try and find a school that can help me get there.

"Location doesn't really matter to me but that's what my trips will be for. I think I'll know if I want to stay close to home or leave based on how my visits go. This summer I plan to camp with the local schools USC and UCLA and I'm also going to camp with Washington as well. I'm looking forward to that and hopefully a few more offers will come out of that."
