Delp Interested in Bruins

The Pomona (Calif.) Diamond Ranch offensive lineman, Kammy Delp, is hoping to hear from UCLA...

Pomona (Calif.) Diamond Ranch offensive lineman Kammy Delp (6-4, 305), made the trip to the Bay Area last weekend for the Oakland NFTC just wanting to refine his game.

When Delp left, he was holding a medal for winning the OL MVP and also a Golden Ticket, receiving an invitation to The Opening.

"Honestly, I didn't expect either of those," said Delp. "I was just focused on working on my technique and getting better in the one-on-one's. I was so blessed and winning the MVP and getting invited to The Opening is so humbling."

Delp is in double-digit offers, with his 11th offer coming this week from Colorado.

Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Colorado, Fresno State, Nevada, Oregon State, San Jose State, Utah, Washington and Washington State have all offered and Delp is hoping a few more in-state schools get on board.

"I'm thinking Cal might be close and I'm going to hit up the coaches at USC and UCLA and hope that the Nike performance helps me," said Delp.

Delp isn't ready to narrow his list at all, content with where his recruitment is.

"My parents want me to focus on the season and then after the season, we'll focus on college," said Delp. "I'll definitely want to take my five trips."

Delp has offers for both sides of the ball, but said more and more he thinks offense is where he'll play in college.

"I think after the Nike Camp, that offensive line is where it's going to be for me at the next level," said Delp.

Brandon is in his ninth year with Scout.com and FOXSportsNext, currently as a National Recruiting Analyst and West Regional Manager. Prior to joining the Scout Recruiting Team, he was a team recruiting writer.  He's been covering recruiting for the Scout Network since 2003.
