Hoops Recruiting Tidbits

There's quite a bit going on in terms of UCLA hoops recruiting this week...

A big development could happen this week in regard to UCLA getting a transfer.

Plus, with an AAU tournament this weekend and a big camp (Pangos All-American Camp) next weekend, UCLA should get a good number of unofficial visitors to campus. The following prospects have indicated their intent to visit the UCLA campus unofficially today following their participation in the Compton Magic Memorial Day Festival in Corona, California, if at all possible:

Jacob Hammond (2014; center; recently rescinded oral commitment to Oklahoma)
Chase Jeter (2015; power forward)
Cameron Walker (2015; power forward)

Stephen Zimmerman, the elite 2015 center who is in Corona this weekend, will not visit UCLA this weekend, but is planning a visit in June.

The following prospects have indicated their intent to visit the UCLA campus unofficially next weekend while competing in the Pangos All-American Camp at Cabrillo High School in Long Beach, if at all possible:

Leron Black (2014; power forward)
Brekkott Chapman (2014; power forward)
Josh Perkins (2014; point guard)
Myles Turner (2014; center)
Rashad Vaughn (2014; shooting guard)
Reid Travis (2014; power forward).

Perkins and Chapman are paying their own way to the camp so, by NCAA rules, it's permissible for them to visit campus before the event. Both are expected to visit UCLA before and after.
