Bail On UCLA Official Visit

Wanaah Bail, the 6-8 forward, is on his UCLA official visit. What's the prevailing sentiment about whether he'll be a Bruin?

Wanaah Bail started his official visit to UCLA Thursday morning.

Bail, the 6-8, athletic forward who was part of the 2012 class committed to Texas Tech, will have until Saturday morning to visit UCLA.

Originally part of the 2012 class, Bail signed a National Letter of Intent with Texas Tech, enrolled for the summer session in Lubbock, but then didn't enroll last fall. Bail has been at a prep school since.

Bail, originally from the Bahamas, is athletic and springy, with also a good outside shooting touch. He was considered the star of Texas Tech's 2012 class.

The word from various sources is that he very likely will verbally commit to UCLA on his visit. He reportedly is supposed to be officially visiting USC after his UCLA visit, and Miami. Sources are indicating it's uncertain if he will, in fact, visit USC.

Bail isn't admitted academically into UCLA, but is expected to be.

It's interesting, too, since Bail will be on his official visit while UCLA is expecting two 2014 prospects, point guard Josh Perkins and forward Brekkott Chapman, on campus Friday for unofficial visits before participating in the Pangos All-American Camp this weekend in Long Beach.
