Rosen Excited by UCLA Offer

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco sophomore quarterback Josh Rosen landed offer No. 10 on Tuesday and he said it was his biggest one so far...

Josh Rosen is part of a strong group of quarterbacks in the West Coast 2015 class. In terms of his physical tools, Rosen has few peers and will battle for that top quarterback spot nationally in two years.

Rosen has some big time offers from national programs like Michigan and Tennessee as well as West Coast programs like Fresno State, Oregon State and Utah. On Tuesday, Rosen received a local offer and said it definitely made an impact.

"I talked to Coach Mora on Tuesday and got an offer from UCLA," Rosen said. "It was awesome, out of all the offers I have, this is my best offer yet. I've always had UCLA in my top three along with California and Stanford so this offer means a lot for me.

"I was supposed to camp with UCLA this weekend for their Q90 QB camp but I won't be able to make it. I still plan to visit UCLA few times this summer for visits but not for camps. Coach Mora told me he wants me to come up to campus as much as I can and just let him know ahead of time so they'll be there for me and that's what I plan to do."

Rosen has already visited Stanford and Cal multiple times and will check out both programs again this summer. USC is also heavily involved and if they decide to offer another quarterback (already have 2015 commitment from David Sills), Rosen could be the most likely candidate there.
