The 6-8 athletic forward officially visited UCLA last week and verbally committed to the staff while on his visit.
Bail was originally part of the 2012 class and committed to Texas Tech, enrolled in the 2012 summer session in Lubbock, but then didn't enroll last fall.
He was deemed NCAA-elible recently, and then started getting recruited by many programs, including UCLA, Miami and USC.
UCLA's new coaching staff had a connection to Bail, and quickly brought him in for an official visit.
Bail, originally from the Bahamas, has been to a number of prep schools, so it took a while to sort through his transcripts to determine his eligibility for UCLA.
