Jam-Packed Summer for Wilson

Quincy Wilson has narrowed his list and will be visiting almost all of his top twelve schools this summer. The Florida defensive back prospect has a full calendar, and he breaks it all down right here...

Quincy Wilson recently narrowed his list to a top twelve, which consists of Notre Dame, Ohio State, UCLA, USC, Florida, LSU, Alabama, North Carolina State, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. A few things separated those schools from the rest of his lengthy offer list.

"(It's) the general interest that I have in them, they win a lot of games, I've developed relationships with the coaches," he said.

The 2014 defensive back won't be able to make it to NC State and Vanderbilt this summer, but he plans to see the rest of his top school before his senior season starts.

"My first trip is going to be to Notre Dame on the 12th (of June), I'll be there from the 12th to the 15th," Wilson said.

He'll be visiting the Irish with father and his University School (Fort Lauderdale, FL) teammate, linebacker Richard Yeargin III.

"I'll be looking forward to everything because I've never been there, I've never been to Indiana, so everything I see will be new," Wilson said.

"I would say (I have) pretty good interest (in them), it's the most traditional college in America, they graduate one-hundred percent of African Americans, so that's something I'm very interested in."

Next on Wilson's list is Ohio State, a program that he's been high on for quite some time and visited last summer. He'll be there June 15-16.

"I'll just be going back to talk with the coaches and be around the players a little bit. I went there last summer, so I've seen it already," he said.

Between the IMG 7on7 National Championship and The Opening, Wilson will visit USC and UCLA June 24-30. Yeargin will most likely join, since he'll also be at The Opening.

"I'm looking at pretty much the same type of things (at each school) because I haven't really seen any of those college, so the campus, the coaches, everything," Wilson said.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound defensive back will then camp at LSU and Alabama mid-July.

"I'll just get to talking to the coaches and the people around there and see how I feel about them," he said.

Finally, at the end of July, he'll see Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, and take another visit to Florida. After visiting most of his finalists, he'll see how comfortable he feels about making a decision.

"I don't know what my plan is after that. Maybe I'll make a decision in August or maybe I'll wait until after officials, I'm not sure yet," he said.
