Dixon to Stay on West Coast

FOX Sports NEXT spoke with 2014 Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure tight end Bryce Dixon at the recent AirStrike 7o-on-7.

USC is his most recent offer, so the 6-4, 220-pound Dixon talked about the Trojans. Dixon is 6-foot-4 220-pounds.

"I know they send a lot of people to the NFL and that's where I want to go," he said.

Though he has NFL dreams, Dixon also has big ambitions to double-major in college. "I want to do business and kinesiology," he said.

Perhaps the biggest development in his recruitment is the acknowledgment that he's going to stay on the west coast. He said he'll chose from UCLA, USC, Oregon and California.

He did say, however, that he's still considering taking an official visit out East, most likely to Florida or Miami.

Dixon says the recruiting process has been overwhelming. He admits that during finals he did not take his routine recruiting calls or answer any messages.

He's planning to attend UCLA's Elite Camp and USC's Rising Stars camp later this month.
