Victor Looking at Options

Craig Victor, the 6-7, athletic power forward from Lousiana, has some very big-named suitors pursuing him...

New Orleans forward Craig Victor is one of the best players in the 2014 class nationally, and was one of the best players at the recent Pangos All-American game.

"Victor hits the glass with some intensity and pursues the ball very well off the offensive glass," Scout.com's Evan Daniels writes. "Offensively, he's able to face up defenders for jump shots or attack off the dribble. Victor has ramped up his play this spring and his improved motor has been a big part of it."

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward is being recruited by schools throughout the country, but currently does not have a leader.

"Recruiting is crazy right now," Victor said. "I have Arizona, Ohio State, Kentucky, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Florida, Texas A&M, UCLA, and LSU. I would not say I have a leader right now though."

Victor, from New Orleans St. Augustine, is looking at the possibility of taking some visits, but says that he currently does not have anything finalized.

"I am talking to my parents about visiting schools," he said. "We are going to try to squeeze some places in there, but I am not sure."

The five-star forward does not have a specific timeline, but does have a general idea of when he would like his recruitment to come to an end.

"I am thinking by the end of July, but I am not going to rush anything," he said. "If I can't get it done, I will take my time from there."
