Dublanko Will Visit UCLA

Aberdeen (Wash.) 2016 linebacker Joel Dublanko will be one of the top prospects in the Northwest to watch in his class.

Dublanko was offered by Mississippi State this week while on an unofficial visit.

The Bulldogs joined Akron and Montana in offering Dublanko.

"It's very exciting," said Dublanko. "But I don't want to get complacent. I don't want to think I can't work as hard because I'll get more offers. It shows me I have to keep working hard."

Dublanko is doing a summer tour of a number of schools.

"I'm going to Washington, Washington State, Oregon State, UCLA, Mississippi State, Florida State, Florida and Tennessee," said Dublanko. "I'm trying to visit a lot of schools this summer and just see some of them."

Dublanko, 6-3, 215, already, said he doesn't want to put on too much weight in the next couple of years.

"I want to stay around 215-220 so I can keep my speed," said Dublanko.

Dublanko grew up a Washington fan, and the Pac-12 has been the conference he's always watched, but the SEC has his attention.

"The thought of playing big SEC ball is exciting, especially since I'm a small town guy," said Dublanko.

The Huskies still stand out to Dublanko, but he said he's open to everyone.

"Now that schools are showing me interest, it's making me broaden my look at schools, but I do like Washington," said Dublanko.
