Norman, 5-foot-10, 165-pounds, is a 2015 cornerback from Culver City (CA) and he locked down every wide receiver at the event over two days. Showing great quickness, balance and competitiveness led Culver to the MVP award.
"There were a lot of great players here and I just dominated everyone," Norman stated. "I played mostly defense, but I took reps at slot receiver too, and just killed it. I play both sides of the football in high school, and I was all-state in California as a sophomore last year."
College recruiters are already aware of Norman, and he has a nice offer list at this time.
"I was offered by Akron at this camp, but I was offered by San Jose State, UCLA, Marshall, Washington State and Utah before this," he reported. "UCLA is one of my favorites and I love the new staff. They've offered me to play both ways, and I can see myself fitting in real well there."
"I really like San Jose State and Washington State a lot too, and they're also great schools," he added.
One other school made quite an impression on Norman, as college coaches were in attendance at the SMSB camp and worked with the players.
"Michigan was all over me today and Coach (Dan) Ferrigno is my guy for sure," Norman said. "They haven't offered me yet, but I hope they do. He liked me a lot, and we are going up there right now to visit. I'm excited to go visit there. After developing my relationship with Coach Ferrigno, that puts Michigan up high with me."
"He has been to my school before and Michigan will always be in my top list of schools right to the end," he continued. "My family is from Louisiana, so moving away from home won't bother me at all."
