UCLA Picks it Up With Haas

UCLA has started to recruit the 7-foot center from Alabama, Isaac Haas, and he says he wants to get out to UCLA...

Hokes Bluff (Ala.) 7-foot center Isaac Haas said he's enjoyed his time in Charlottesville for the NBAPA Camp.

"It's amazing here," said Haas at the camp. "This is my first time being here and I never knew this was here. I'm learning from the best and I've already started improving since I got here. Since the first game even, I've gotten better and better."

UCLA has recently come in to play for Haas.

"The newest school coming in is UCLA," said Haas. "Them, Florida and Wichita State have all recently offered me."

Haas said that he's been talking with Bruin assistant coach David Grace.

"UCLA offered -- Coach Grace, talked with him a lot. He's a great guy. He calls me, and wants me to get to know Coach (Steve) Alford some more. I'll probably get out there soon. I'm going to make a decision on which schools I'll visit officially."

Haas said he's not focusing on any schools just yet.

"I'm not really narrowing it down yet," said Haas. "I know for a fact I will visit Wichita State and Florida though. And I'll make my decision in November."
