Fort Worth (Tex.) All Saints' Episcopal offensive lineman Demetrius Knox experienced a rocky start to his unofficial visit when he had difficulty getting in contact with the UCLA coaching staff this past week.

That was all forgotten on what proved to be a memorable visit.

"Man, I was completely blown away," Knox said. "That was, by far, the best visit I've taken so far."

Knox took a full tour of the campus but said that the highlight of the trip was simply sitting down with the coaches and getting to speak with them.

"I can say that easily that's the most comfortable I've felt with a coaching staff," said Knox, who's fresh off a visit to Ohio State. "I get along with them all really well."

With that kind of glowing review, there's the obvious followup: did he think about committing?

"I'd be lying if I said it didn't cross my mind," Knox said. "I thought about it, but in the end, I still want to take my time and make a really well thought out choice."

That being said, Knox said that UCLA was firmly his leader at this point, and that it would take quite a bit for another school to supplant the Bruins.

Knox was formerly committed to Texas but decided to open things up in April. The four-star has struck up a quick friendship with several incoming UCLA players on Twitter, including fellow Texas Eldridge Massington and Caleb Benenoch.

Knox said that this visit is likely his last for the summer as he buckles down for offseason prep with his high school team.
